ZAROS: Boss - NEX (queen of the Gods) (level 1001) (30k hp)

Recommended Levels:
99 Ranged
99 Attack
99 Strength
99 Constitution
99 Magic
95 Prayer
96 Summoning
92-96 Herblore (Overloads)
Chaotic crossbow
Chaotic rapier/Longsword
Chaotic maul or rigour (maul is slow and un-accurate)

Nex and her followers have several unique drops that cannot be obtained by any other means. These include the Torva, Pernix, and Virtus Armour which provide a boost to the life points of the wearer, the Ancient Ceremonial Robes, and the Zaryte Bow.

Nex uses all three combat styles along with a variety of special attacks coming to a total of 16 different attacks. Nex is currently the most intelligent and dangerous boss in Infinity-Magic!

Recommended Gear:
Weapon: Chaotic crossbow
Ammo: Ruby bolts(e) and Diamond bolts(e)
Helmet: Pernix coif > Armadyl helmet OR Void ranged helmet
Amulet: Amulet of fury > Amulet of glory
Body: Pernix body > Armadyl chestplate
Legs: Pernix chaps Armadyl chainskirt
Shield: Divine spirit shield > Elysian spirit shield > Eagle-eye kiteshield
Cape: Alerter and fire cape
Boots: Glaiven boots > Ranger boots
Gloves: Goliath gloves > Barrows gloves
Ring: Onyx (i) > Archer (i) + Berserker (i)

Recommended Inventory
•3 Overloads
•1 Super antipoison
•3 Saradomin brew
•3 Special recover
•4 Saradomin brew
•Diamond bolts(e) - use your equipped ruby bolts until the final phase
•Dragon claws, warrior helmet, fire cape
•Unicorn and 50-60 scrolls.

Recommended Familiar Inventory
•23 Saradomin brews
•7 Super restore in the last spaces

Rewards

The Ancient ceremonial robes are purely aesthetic and provide no bonuses. The robes are dropped by both Ancient Minions in Nex's room.

The Torva, Pernix, and Virtus amours boost life points when worn and are only dropped by Nex. The helm boosts life points above their maximum by 66, the body boosts by 200, and the legs boost by 134. Wearing a full set results in a total life point boost of 400.

All three sets degrade when used in combat and will eventually need to be repaired similar to barrows items. The items can be repaired by Bob in Lumbridge or using the armour stand in a player owned house for a discount. The cost reduction of using a POH is dependent on your smithing level, up to a 50% discount at 100 smithing (99 with a skillcape boost).

PLEASE NOTE: NEX IS NOT a Solo Boss! She is very dangerous and could kill anyone before they heal!
Recommended atleast 5 people per group!

Nex can be located by typing ::nex in-game, soon to be added to the boss list.
Nex's minions who also drop torva/pernix/virtus are the following:
Glacies - Ancient Mage (285), Cruor - Ancient Ranger (285), Fumus - Ancient Guard of Nex (285) & Umbra - Ancient Mele (285)
These minions will protect their master with their lifes! So don't underestimate them or her!
